a special message
To my many readers,
With almost four years of writing and nine months on the net, Today’s Thought continues to reach and inspire people from all over the world. In my part of this planet the festive season becomes a frantic grab for money – yours and mine!
But I’ve noted when all the dollars, the tinsel, the wrappings and brochures have gone, it is the intimacy with family and friends that continues to be important.
I wanted to encourage you to seek that same intimacy with Jesus, your potential best friend… and the Saviour of this world. He is the real reason for Christmas!
Something a little more hidden… Yesterday I accepted the position of chaplain at two local primary schools. It’s been a hidden dream of mine for many years, and in His time, has arrived.
The reasons for sharing this moment is not for the support… even though that would be awesome… but more importantly, to continue to encourage you to listen to the dreams and visions God has sewn.
What passions or ideas have been hidden by the clutter and noise of life? What is stirring deep in your soul over this year-end? What is God taking from the depths and birthing in the New Year?
I would love to hear from you if there’s a volcano or even an ember inside that’s beginning to ignite. Let God do what He will in your life… and you will be bathed in happiness, satisfaction and joy unlimited!
May the reality of Christmas – Jesus – be real to you, Today!
