Unpacked things

by Bruce Wadd

I was looking for it everywhere.  The deodorant just couldn’t be found.  My wife hadn’t stolen it!  It wasn’t in the draw, nor on the bench.  I looked in the bin and it wasn’t there.  I wondered where it could be?

Then I remembered, sitting on the floor in the bedroom was an unpacked bag from our weekend away.  I went straight to the side zipped area, and there it was – the missing deodorant.

I hadn’t unpacked completely from a pleasant weekend excursion.  Was there something to be learned from this?  If my mother was here she would certainly say so, but let me take something a little different from this occurrence.

You may feel that there are certain things in your life that keep coming back to you without understanding why.  You just can’t seem to move on.  Have you ever considered, maybe God wants you to go back and unpack completely the things that were put together in the past!  So that He can shine His truth into negative situations.

If you carefully unpack, you will discover answers that allow you a much brighter future!

Just remember that He has promised…

“But if we confess our sins to him, he can be depended

on to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong”

1 John 1:9

TODAY, go back and let God unpack the mystery of the past, and then move on!
