Second is fine by
Now I am not denying ‘doing your best’, but let me get you to contemplate a paradigm not often considered.
Is there virtue in coming second? In striving to be the very best second… or third… or even tenth, you can possibly be?
God’s plan for your life is often so different to your own picture… or for that matter, the worlds! God asks you to follow His calling for your life, where true success is measured by eternal parameters.
The Bible challenges us to...
“…fulfil all He has told you to do, so that no one can find fault with you from now until our Lord Jesus Christ returns.” 1 Timothy 6:14
Fulfilling your calling in God will lead to true happiness and contentment!
Today, accept second as best… if that’s your calling!
