Reversing beep

by Bruce Wadd

There are cars these days manufactured with reversing cameras, beeping increasingly when you’re getting closer to something.  How convenient for those with a reversing inadequacy!

You have been hard wired with the same technology.  That’s right, if you’re going backwards, or more precisely, downwards, there is a beeping inside.  It can be as loud as you want, because you get to control the volume.

Your conscience is built to warn you of potential dangers, and if working properly, will alarm increasingly as you get closer to wrong.

‘And if you leave God’s paths and go

astray, you will hear a Voice behind you say,

“No, this is the way; walk here.” ’

     Isaiah 30:21

Are you listening?
