Only one arrow by
The archer had the best equipment – fibreglass bow, leather glove, eye shield (for focused vision), special sunglasses, and comfortable clothing.
Up he stepped to the shooting plate. All the other archers had already chosen their finest arrow and fired. But this archer waited till just the right time. He reached into his quiver, pulled out the single arrow, placed it on the rest, fitted the string in correctly, pulled back, eyed the target and with perfect fluency and calmness, released the arrow to its destiny.
God, in His infinite wisdom, has only one arrow in His quiver…and that is You! You are made for a destiny that only God can fulfil. Avoid it as much as you like, but you have been chosen by God for a destiny that only He can release you into. What is that?
“You will find me when you seek me, if you look for me in earnest.” Jeremiah 29:13
TODAY, remember, it’s you that God has chosen! Seek Him!
