It takes time by
Just prior to travelling overseas I had a play session with our pup. At the time his teeth were very much immature and rather sharp. So through the game several cuts were inflicted on my hand.
Here I am, sitting and writing this morning, and looking at a scar on my hand, and it’s still not healed. Regular scabbing has meant repeated infection. After three months the wound has not completely healed!
In life there are times where healing takes time. The wounds – physical, emotional, spiritual – may have gone very deep, or they seem to keep reopening and not healing completely.
God, in His wisdom, may not have healed you instantly, something He is very capable of doing! Rather, God may require a longer healing time, because the gradual and difficult process may be preparing you for greater service opportunities for Him in the future – only He knows!
“There is a right time for everything… A time to heal; …a time to rebuild…” Ecclesiastes 3:1,3
TODAY, let time… and God heal your wounds!
