Falling upwards

by Bruce Wadd

Have you seen things falling upwards into the sky lately?  Maybe a balloon or two, a feather on a whisk of a breeze… but not much more!

In fact, the law of gravity states that we are drawn like a magnet to the centre of the earth until something blocks that attraction.

In the human world another law draws you with similar intensity!  The law of justice reigns in this world, and shows up in a variety of ways, at personal, family, corporate, national and global levels.

At a more intimate level, when we have people or events that have hurt us in the past, our only way of being released from this injustice is to forgive… to offer grace!

Go against the natural law of justice, and seek forgiveness for your wrongs.  Let grace reign in your attitudes and behaviour… and see what heady heights you get to.  You might be surprised!

Here’s Jesus’ prayer of instruction for us,

“And forgive us our sins, just as we have forgive

those who have sinned against us.”

Matthew 6:12

TODAY, I challenge you to fall upwards!
