Eerie pink

by Bruce Wadd

As I woke this morning, well before sunrise, I looked into the sky to be met by an intriguing sight – clouds that should have been totally invisible in darkness, softened with an eerie pink colour.

The phenomena only lasted about 5 minutes, and then dawn started its normal 45-minute progress towards sunrise.

But what was this weird sensation?  I suppose it again reminds me of life – what may be your darkest moment in life, can still reflect the light of the Son!!

Let me encourage you this morning if you are struggling with a darkness or shadow or pain in your life, that God can add a softness and gentleness that is almost eerie. And that, even before you can see any hope of change!

"But He was wounded and bruised for our sins.

He was chastised that we might have peace;

He was lashed - and we are healed!"

Isaiah 53:5

TODAY… take comfort that God understands!
