Burnt out element by
It’s dangerous, but people do it regularly. They turn on an electric jug without adequate water in it. And yes, you’re right, the element burns out. The jug is actually designed that way, to accommodate for human error.
If you’re not careful you too will burn out, if you keep living in the ‘flesh’ and not the Spirit.
But God designed the Christian life for one of great service, success and victory, but only through His Spirit. Here is the key!
“’It’s not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord.” Zechariah 4:6
Today, avoid burn out. Be filled with the Spirit!

Let me explain. Your
spiritual journey will continue to be fascinating and rewarding, but very
quickly you will need to learn that you can easily ‘work’ for God in your
human nature – your ‘flesh’. This will lead to tiredness, disillusionment,
and eventually burn-out!
