Before
using the material contained on this Website, you must read and accept
the below terms and conditions.
By downloading and using any material contained on
ShareSong.org
you thereby accept the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
1.
REGISTERED CONTENT
You
acknowledge that the material available via
ShareSong.org is protected by
copyright and other intellectual and proprietary rights.
You agree to not copy, reproduce, transmit, distribute
or transfer any material contained on the
ShareSong.org in violation of any third party rights.
Fair and due recognition of the authorship of any work contained within these pages shall be given.
2.
INDEMNIFICATION
You
agree to indemnify and hold us or our officers
harmless from any
claim or demand made by any third
party due to or arising out of your use of the material contained on
ShareSong.org and related services, your connection to the related
services, your violation of this Agreement, or your violation of any
intellectual property rights of a third party.
You,
as the User, will make every effort to register the download and
subsequent use of the material with CCLI
(Christian Copyright Licensing International) if the work is used in the
context of an church activity and that church has a CCLI
Licence.
If
your church does not have a CCLI license, we encourage you to obtain a
license and thereby support the songwriters and their work (refer Section
3, Material Licensing, in the Contributor's Agreement which states
that "by uploading material to
ShareSong.org, you are making your
material available for non-commercial use by both CCLI Licence Holders and
people who do not hold a CCLI Licence.").
4.
WARRANTIES
You
understand and expressly agree that the services afforded to you through
ShareSong.org are being made available to you "as is" and
"as available."
All
perceived ‘defects’ in the material available through
ShareSong.org
should be reported to the contributor, whose contact details are
listed on
the website.
5.
COPYRIGHT
The ownership of the material uploaded to ShareSong.org remains with the
copyright owner (e.g. the songwriter, record company etc). You
may only use the material available on
ShareSong.org for
personal (i.e.
not commercial) purposes.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes any portion of any material contained on ShareSong.org without prior explicit consent of the copyright owner.
Please contact the copyright owner (by voting for the song and leaving a
message) to see permission for other than personal use.
