Sampler CD

The ShareSong.org Sampler CD was put together to be a tactile tangible (non web-based) introduction to the ShareSong.org site - a singing brochure.  

Prepared particularly for radio stations, it contains 17 of the most popular songs off the ShareSong.org site that you can play in your CD player.  As well hearing the audio, you can also put the CD in your computer to take a tour of the ShareSong.org web site and view (and print) all the sheet music for the music that you hear on the CD. 

We are now making this CD available to anyone who donates more than US$10 to help keep ShareSong.org growing.

1. All About Love by Rick Muchow

As the Music Pastor for 15,000 worshippers each weekend, and as a teacher and advisor on worship for the over 150,000 pastors and church leaders from 60 denominations and over 100 countries who have attended Purpose Driven Church Conferences, Rick Muchow has certainly taught and led many to a deeper intimacy with God over his 13 years at Saddleback Church.  All About Love is the title track of Rick’s new album. 

2. There’s a War by Andrew Ironside

Andrew is a high profile and prolific songwriter and worship leader based in Brisbane, Australia who has put out numerous worship albums over the years.  “There’s a War” is typical of his gutsy Aussie style.

3. Celebration by Dunamis

Dunamis Christian Centre has put out a great new praise and worship album featuring a plethora of great artists including the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.  “Celebration” is a jazzy praise song to a dance beat.  

4. I Want to Know You More by Dennis Burnett

This song has been unshakable from the #1 spot on the ShareSong.org downloads January through March.  Dennis is Pastor of Music at The Rock of Mobile, USA.

5. God Rocks by Darlene Ketchum

God rocks, and so does this song!  Sometimes the simple things in life are often the best, and this song is set to become a youth anthem.  See if you can help but have it stick in your head.  Darlene is a singer, songwriter, music teacher and worship leader from Delta, BC, Canada.

6. Singleness of Heart by Rachael Passmore

Singleness of Heart is the title track for a the three track CD and devotional journal package written for single women, which encourages singles to find contentment in God and to live in singleness to the full.

7. Be Magnified by Don Chapman

A simple chorus based on Psalm 70:4-5. Don is the music director of Horizon Church in Greenville, SC, and enjoys writing praise songs based on Scripture.

8. Totally Committed by Johannes James

Johannes James is a worship leader and youth pastor with the Uniting Church in Australia.  Totally Committed was a popular youth anthem at the recent National Christian Youth Convention (NCYC).

9. I Will Lift Up by Duane Clark

Duane is part of the prolific and highly successful Highest Praise Productions stable of songwriters.  “I Will Lift Up” is an upbeat praise song with a faith filled declaration of God's greatness, and the worshipers' decision to praise the Lord and is available on the “Restoration” album available through New Life Christian Fellowship/Vanguard Ministries.

10. How Wonderful You Are by Worship is a Way of Life

The WIAWOL Praise & Worship Team consists of a group of people with a heart for worshiping our Saviour Jesus from Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.  “How Wonderful You Are” is a beautiful love song to Jesus. 

11. You are There by Karen Jenkins, Grant Walker & Marty Kendall

This song was written at SMADD (Song Music Art Dance Drama) Camp in 1994.  It seems simple but has been highly popular.  This is one of the songs that motivated us to make ShareSong.org a reality.

12. Jesus Your Love by Chris Fitzell

This is a simple but powerful song of adoration for Jesus with a groove that enables people to worship. Chris is a gifted and prolific songwriter who loves encouraging people with her songs. “Jesus Your Love” is a popular song on her new album, 'Undivided', which is available direct from Chris.

13. Wide Open by o2 Worship

o2 worship, from British Columbia have submitted songs off their contemporary "Worship in Stereo" album.  "Wide Open" is a catchy and passionate song taken from the debut release by the worship band, o2.  See if you can spot the Delirious, U2 and Third Day influences.

15. Your Grace is Enough by Ray Watson

New Zealand based songwriter, Ray Watson, has been doing it for a long time, including being involved in notating for the Scripture in Song in the 1980s.   “Your Grace is Enough” is a reflective song on the love of God. A smooth jazz ballad with soft velvet vocals and laid back saxophone. 

16. I Am Not My Own by Troy Kennedy

Troy Kennedy is the Associate Minister of Music at Saddleback Church in Southern California. His new CD, “Let the People Praise Him”, contains an energetic and diverse selection of songs that have been a part of the worship services at Saddleback Church and many Purpose Driven Churches around the world.  “I Am Not My Own”, is a high-energy praise song with a bit of Latin-American flair.
