There is a real person… by Bruce Wadd
It was quite funny really. Someone, a subscriber of “Today’s Thought”, responded to a devotional one day. She’d been reading the thoughts for a long time, inspired, challenged and blessed by many messages but she had never thought of communicating.
Finally she’d realized that there was a real person at the other end of this communication, writing, editing, publishing and sending these daily notes. And when she got a personal response she was even more surprise… and inspired!
That’s right… this person has faults, challenges and irregularities like everyone else but continues to be committed to sharing blessing, and challenging people to a closer walk with Jesus.
How about the people around you? Is anyone receiving a blessing from you touching their lives? The person in the lift? The toll booth? The grocery check -out? The call centre? How can you bless them, impact them, inspire them to greater things, today?
If nothing else, smiles are free!
