Potter’s creation by
There are days when a potter just produces wonderful creations. And there are other times when the spinning wheel merely produces blobs of clay destined for the potter’s floor.
God is in the process of shaping our lives to His plan for us. At some stage we were all picked up off the floor as a hunk of slimy clay, and then slapped onto the turning wheel of life.
Today, you might be feeling like you’re spinning way too fast. Or maybe the wheel is stopped and you wished it were going. It could be that the potter is pounding the clay with His fist – things are hurting really bad… and you just don’t know why! Or you, in your own strength, have jumped off the wheel and crashed to the floor as another blob of mud?
Whatever is happening in your life at the moment, just know that He is using everything that has happened, is happening and will occur to shape you into the prized possession He has planned.
“Even when walking through the dark valley of death I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me, guarding, guiding all the way.” Psalms 23:4
