Plastic edge

by Bruce Wadd

‘Ahhh, this is taking too long,’ I screamed within my stressed mind.  All I wanted was to have some left over pizza for dinner, but the task was proving much more cantankerous than I expected.

My fingers were exploring every part of this piece of plastic-covered food looking for the end of the plastic so I could unwrap easily, but minutes later my fingers were still searching.  Ripping it off wasn’t an option, so being patient in my search was really my only option. [I was too hungry to return it to the fridge!]

Suddenly the end was found, the plastic removed, pizza heated, and pleasantly consumed by this hungry man.  How quickly the covering disappeared once the end was found!

Searching for solutions to life’s larger problems is often similar.  Sometimes patience is required, constant searching for answers needed, but let me add a suggestion – adding God into your daily mix will unravel a profound life for you!

Life comes together if you are patient, keep trying … and add GOD!

“Commit your work to the Lord, then it will succeed.”

Proverbs 16:3
