Mist in the valley

by Bruce Wadd

With autumn just arriving in the last couple of days it brings a cooling morning breeze, the nip in the air, the need to put on a blanket, and the delicately draped valley mist.

Driving or riding through the mist can be an ethereal experience.  When you are in the middle of the mist vision is limited to almost zero, but you can also have your head out of the mist, and your body within it – quite a surreal experience!

Life in Christ can be similar.  Despite the lack of visibility we can sometimes have through life, living in Christ means that by faith our eyes can be above the morning mist.  We can catch the rays of the morning sun, until its heat of the day burns away the cloudiness of uncertainty.

Here’s a reminder of what is going on…

“You are living a brand new kind of life… trying constantly to be more and more like Christ.”

Colossians 3:10

TODAY, celebrate valley mist… because clear vision is coming!
