Misinterpretation

by Bruce Wadd

Ever met or worked with a person who regularly has a gruff looking face.  Your immediate reading of the situation says that they aren’t happy about something.

If you have to be around this person for a time, and they maintain this gruffness, you are justified in thinking they are not glad, they aren’t friendly, or they just let life get them down.

Bob was just like that.  He never said hello.  He often didn’t even acknowledge me as I walked passed. So I began to assume that he was not a happy or friendly person.

Then one day our lunch times coincided. In the matter of half an hour our whole relationship moved from one of distrust and misunderstanding, to one of friendliness and interest in each other.

Time with God, talking to and praising Him, takes away the misunderstanding you may have about the ruler of the universe.  Worshiping Him will open an amazing door in your heart where you will be transformed.  No more misinterpretation, just awesome praise!

“May the Lord bless you and protect you;

may the Lord’s face radiate with joy because of you;

may He be gracious to you, show you His favour,

and give you His peace;”

Numbers 6:24-26

TODAY, banish misinterpretation. Spend time getting to know Him!
