Hand over by
“There is always a first time for everything” goes the saying… and this experience was no exception!
My wife and I sold our first home. One of the final and most important in the whole process was ‘hand-over’. The solicitors working for both the buyer and the seller finalised all legal and financial details, to everyone’s satisfaction… and then, finally, keys and finances were exchanged.
The same goes for your life as a Christian. You've chosen to relinquish your being - your dreams, wants and actions to someone else – the God of the universe! Why? Because you know that God will take care of you, even better than you can take care of yourself.
‘Hand over’ is the essence of being a Christian! Look at Jesus’ example…
“Just as my Father knows Me and I know the Father; I lay down my life for the sheep.” John 10:15
Jesus willingly submitted himself to His Father so that we could learn from His example.
TODAY, why not ‘hand-over’ everything to God!

The moment
finally came when we realised the home that we had invested so much time, love and energy,
was
now just a memory. Recollections flourished, but the reality of ownership was gone.
Someone else had taken possession!
