Fresh clean start by
As is my habit most mornings, well before dawn, my dog and I are out walking in the early freshness.
Today was something special, though, because after four days of humidity and thunderstorms and constant rain, the air was thick and everything was dripping.
The cycle of fresh morning, humid day, punishing thunderstorm in the evening was complete for the moment. The fresh new day had arrived!
How often have you got into a cycle of starting the day afresh, and by the end of the same day you were overloaded with burdens and difficulties? Then you go to bed, only to start the new day with some of the previous day’s baggage. You may have woken with a yearning for more – for a cleaness of heart!
God is capable of giving you a refreshed heart every day, if you will allow Him. Just ask Him!
“What happiness for those whose guilt has been forgiven! What joys when sins are covered over! What relief for those who have confessed their sins and God has cleared their record.” Psalms 32:1,2
TODAY, ask God for a fresh, clean start!

As the hints of dawn
revealed themselves on the eastern horizon, the statement of a new day was
emphatically stamped by the clean atmosphere, the clear view and the fresh
cooling drift of air.
