Fix or ignore?

by Bruce Wadd

In this age of connectivity, particularly for those linked to the Internet, a virus checker is an absolute essential.  It is normal practise for the developers of virus software to send out regular updates.  Lately this has become almost a continual event because of the huge increase in virus problems.

Everything that comes and goes from a computer is run through the virus software to detect whether there are any bugs being transferred that could harm the computer.

Regularly breaches are found, and the computer user is sent a message alerting them to a possible security infringement.  At this point the computer user has the opportunity to respond – fix or ignore?

In your Christian life God has given you the opportunity to engage a virus checker, via the Word of God and His Holy Spirit.  Your conscience acts as a warning system to possible dangers to your long-term well-being, but like virus checking software, you need constant updates of truth to maintain vigilance against attacks.

Thank God we have the Holy Spirit, constantly available for virus checking duties.

“The thief’s purpose is to steal, kill and destroy.

My purpose is to give life in all its fullness.”

John 10:10

TODAY, get that virus checker working!
