Facing my study

by Bruce Wadd

I had an internet technician come and install new technology in my home office. Ignoring all the technical details, he shifted things around to access the wall where the changes were happening.

Typically, things were left in a mess.  When I arrived home that evening I was interested to see the progress, only to be greeted by the overwhelming chaos of my precious world.

I was pleased with the completed work, but the resulting untidiness, and the effort needed to clean it up, was just too much and I walked out in disgust.

This may be true for you.  You may be painfully aware of some things in your life that make you unhappy, or God has shown you a character trait that He wants to get rid of.  The thought of changing, the effort that it takes is just too much, and you give up and walk away.

Before you disappear off God’s radar screen, let me just encourage you with some exciting truth.  Yes, God wants you to be perfect.  But the great news is that in Jesus’ death it has already been done. You now just need to live in the freedom of that thought.

Keep learning about God and his truth, and…

“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32

TODAY, face the truth about yourself… and be free!
