Early morning sprinkle

by Bruce Wadd

Autumn is a really special time of year in my part of the world. The heat of summer has eased, sleeping is much easier, and people have more zest for life.

The intriguing thing is the frequency of the early morning showers.  Almost everyday somewhere between dawn and sun up a short and gentle shower of rain often falls.  It’s not long, but enough for the road to be wet, the grass to have plenty of droplets, and early morning walkers to take their umbrellas.

When people get up they are greeted by a sparkling new day, with droplets of water hanging, shining delicately in the early morning sun.  Cars left out have large bubbles of clear liquid on them.  There is a fresh sense of renewed life in the air.

May the Holy Spirit send an ‘early morning shower’ into your life, today!

“May the Lord continually bless you with heaven’s blessings

as well as with human joys.”

Psalms 128:6
