Constant wind by Bruce Wadd
How silly I felt? Beginning to get an attitude about this circumstance, and at the same time birds were using this breeze to lift and carry them beyond where they were.
Is there something in your life that is beginning or continuing to grind you down? An addiction? A prodigal teen? A lingering or terminal illness?
There will be someone within your circle of life that has used the same circumstance to lift them higher and go beyond! Do you know them? Are you willing to search them out to learn from them?
“Instead, be really glad - because these trials will make you partners with Christ in his suffering, and afterwards you will have the wonderful joy of sharing His glory…” 1 Peter 4:13

Having
lived at my brother’s house for four days the wind hadn’t let up. I was
beginning to get rather annoyed about the situation, telling myself how
frustrating it was. When beyond the roof line flew a small flock of large
winged ibis. Before me, I witnessed birds effortlessly cruising in the
breeze, heading towards their feeding ground for the day.
